The first thing you want to do is register a free account online at the bottom of this page. Once you create the account, you can reserve your buy packages and reserve your spots online. Class cancellations are only done online or on the MindBody app.
Best practices for everyone: Show up on time. Doors lock when classes begin. Review our cancellation policy on the rates page. For best results, practice on empty stomach, bladder and colon. Avoid drinking water until after practice. Avoid heavy perfumes and make-up, especially if you intend to sweat. Bring a hair tie. Wear clothes that allow movement while covering sensitive areas. Baggy shirts and shorts/pants can hinder your practice. Practice barefoot. Bring your own mat and towel or rent/buy from studio. Breathe through your nose (ujjayi breath). Mouth breathing is for emergencies only. Introduce yourself to the instructor if you're new and let them know if you have any injuries or limitations. Let the instructor know if you plan to leave early. Silence your phone and leave it outside the sacred practice space. Do not compete with others. Do what your body will allow that day. Every day is different. Every side is different. Do not overextend. If it hurts, you're doing it wrong. If it feels good, you're doing it right! Yoga is a breathing exercise. Don't hold your breath unless instructed. The best yogi is not the one who does the most today; the best yogi is the one who comes back tomorrow because they didn't hurt themselves today. Stay for savanna (corpse pose) at the end. It's the best part and oftentimes the hardest part for newbies.
Once you've created the account below, you will be dropped off on the schedule page so you can find a class to book. All our classes are mixed-levels, meaning there are beginner and intermediate options. You just need to decide if you want to work hard and sweat a lot or take it easy and practice gently. Both types of classes will yield fantastic results if practiced consistently.
We suggest completing a minimum of 12 classes your first month and you will be amazed with yourself! You will build your strength, stamina, flexibility and balance over time. Each time you come to class, you will pick up a new nugget of information to help you progress in your personal practice or a lesson that can be applied off the yoga mat.
We also suggest taking private lessons and attending master classes/workshops with Ricky Tran when they are available because these opportunities are actually very valuable and hard to come by. These workshops are only offered about once a month, and each session with Ricky will help you progress my leaps and bounds.
This is the best way to optimize your efforts to maximize your results.
